The objective is to combine two existing frozen Hispanic food companies with one or more companies that have manufacturing, quick freeze, cold storage capability, and the capacity to expand production. The combined entity will target both retail and food service channels with complementary products and brands. Our client will create a solution that provides full or partial liquidity for selling shareholders with capital, operational resources, and executive support to achieve the new enterprise’s vision and growth objectives. This private equity group differentiates itself by partnering with a senior executive with deep industry experience who will assume a CEO, chairman or senior director role. With long history of working with closely held middle market companies, a sizable investment team, and financial resources our client is flexible, sensitive to owners’ needs and can move quickly.

Frozen food manufacturing business
Revenues $20-100 million, EBITDA $3 million plus
Quick-freeze capability and capacity – nitrogen tunnel or spiral freezer
Frozen storage capacity
USDA/FDA certified for meat processing
Space for expanded production (extrusion, steam cooking, wrapping, etc.)
Ideally up to 50,000 square foot manufacturing plant
Complementary product lines – frozen appetizers, ethnic foods, hand-held foods
Customers are retail and/or food service
Location Midwest, Southeast, Northeast; will consider Canada or West Coast
